A Review of "Can't Even"

A couple of weeks ago a review I wrote of Anne Helen Petersen's Can't Even: How Millennials Became the Burnout Generation went live on Dordt's inAllThings publication. For readers of this site, it's worth noting that Petersen is a former college professor with some sharp thoughts on productivity, work, and higher education.

Of course I'd love you to read my review, but the tl;dr of it is: the book does a great job of identifying societal conditions that have led to overwork and burnout, especially among those of the millennial generation (myself included). It is an excellent elaboration on Petersen's viral 2019 piece on millennial burnout. I'd highly recommend it.
