Math 149: Explorations in Modern Math
This course is focused on exploring college-level mathematics relevant for all students, regardless of discipline. We will investigate modern mathematical topics including number theory, modeling, fractals, infinity, probability, making meaning from data, and decision-making. Mathematical thinking, reasoning, and pattern discovery will be particularly emphasized.
Math 152: Calculus I
A study of the basic concepts and techniques of calculus for students in all disciplines. Topics include limits, differentiation, integration, and applications.
Math 212: Discrete Structures
A study of topics in discrete mathematics that are relevant to computer science and mathematics, including logic and proof, induction and recursion, elementary set theory, combinatorics, relations and functions, Boolean algebra, and introductory graph theory.
