Math 305: Abstract Algebra II

Catalog course description: A continuation of Mathematics 304. A more extensive study of algebraic structures, focused primarily on groups. If time permits, the Galois correspondence will be explored. This course is offered as an individual studies course unless there is sufficient enrollment to warrant otherwise. Prerequisite: grade of C- or higher in Mathematics 304.
